Lowes Hardware, Federal Way General Contractor: Robinson Construction This turn key project consists of 176,000 square feet of footings and slab on grade for a new Lowes complex.
The project's largest single pour of over 600 yards ran very smoothly. With work beginning at 4:00 a.m., the power trowels were cruising the slab by noon. Olympic was on hand to handle the laser screed and finishing.
With several trucks pouring at once, the concrete was flowing as fast as the laser screed could level it.
Several trucks were able to pour at the same time, making quick work of the day's pour.
The saws were lined up and ready to go, waiting for the finish to harden so lines could be snapped and cut.
The finish was coming along quite nicely by early afternoon, with several power trowels working the slab.
