in place for the first level of post-tension slab. the slab on grade
pours are also nearly completed
A section of curved walls for
the ramp leading to the second level have been completed and await the rest
of the rebar so the slab can be poured. Rebar and tendons are
being placed on the completed sections of decking.
The decking for the post-tension deck is going up quickly as the bottom floor slab is more than half way completed.
The Skydeck comes together seamlessly with much less hassle than conventional panel decking.
The Peri form system greatly speeds the construction of wall sections.
While the slab-on-grade continues to be poured, work has begun on the shoring and Skydeck installation.
Several more columns and footing have been poured, along with a section of curved wall. With little rain in the forecast work has progressed well.
The Peri form system is working out well to keep the job moving forward on time. Column forms are easily stripped and reassembled in preparation for the next pour.
Assembly and placing of the Peri forms is moving along rapidly with the help of the now fully operational tower crane.
Keeping materials stacked and organized is a high priority with so much activity taking place on a relatively compact jobsite.
The modular Peri forms have begun arriving on site and assembly will begin shortly.
Iron workers are hard at work tying rebar for the columns.
The base of the tower crane is in place and ready for the rest of the support structure to be assembled.
Line is being strung to mark for wall forms panels are stripped and stacked from the elevator shaft footing pour.
Workers prepare the footings for the tower crane arriving next week.
Several footings are already in place and now the first of the large elevator shaft footings are being poured.
Hundreds of yards of concrete are being pumped into the large elevator footing.
Excavation for the first footings is under way and concrete will begin pouring in just a few days.
Surveying is in progress to mark out for the first footings. In a matter of a few months there will be four stories of multi-unit residential living space on this very spot.
